Situated 10kms from Jaipur city, in an area of open farmland with a distant ring of hills, Devi Ratn is the latest hotel to open from Devi Resorts. This striking building dominates the surrounding landscape with its stark, red stone architecture. Devi Ratn has a vocabulary of design that, for inspiration, looks inward to the vibrant culture of Rajasthan. It is challengingly contemporary to the eye whilst using ancient techniques, local stone and has a theme running through it of local precious stones and jewels (ratn). It takes its name from the “Nav Ratn” - nine pure gemstones that are said to focus cosmic energy.

The interiors of all 60 spacious suites and 3 villas are celebrations of textures in brilliant colours, patterns and latticework. They are large; they dare to be different; they are perfectly equipped and boast the trademark, gloriously roomy ‘Devi’ bathrooms! Planned along crescent shaped ‘streets’ at varying heights, every suite is ensured a view of the distant Aravalli Hills. The celestial ambience of the bar is enchanting; the shimmering opulence of the restaurant and the watery L’Occitaine Spa are captivating; and the materials used on the floors and walls of the public areas have to be seen to be believed as they sparkle and glisten or awe you in their bravery. Devi Ratn is magnificent and represents the spirit of modern Rajasthan, combining romantic, lyrical spaces with bold architecture.
