All hot water in the hotel is generated by solar power. All water is treated by their Sewage Treatment Plant and used for landscaping. The stone jaali (screen) acts as a skin for the building and absorbs and retains the sun's heat, thus considerably reducing the need for heating in winter and air-conditioning in summer.
