Bardia National Park is one of the largest (approx. 1000 sq km) and most pristine parks in Nepal – it remains relative unexplored and is one of the last great wildernesses. The park is home to a rich and diverse range of wildlife, including the Royal Bengal Tiger, elephants, the Greater One Horned Rhino, leopard, swamp and spotted dear, and over 400 different species of birds.
