Given the great diversity of India, this has also bred a wonderful variety in the hotels now available in this glorious country and it is nigh on impossible to give any a ‘star’ rating to them, so we have devised our own rating system wherein they fall into two categories – Select Hotels and Kindred Hotels – marked with an ‘S’ or a ‘K’.

MAhout Kindred hotels (K) are equally special and delicious in their own way.
